The ISERF Shoulder Specialists Retreat 2016 course will take place on the scenic Middle Fork of the Salmon River in the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Area in Idaho from July 30-August4, 2016. Over the course of the 6-day river trip approximately 1 1/2 hours per day will be dedicated to lectures and interactive discussion on the topic of shoulder surgery. This course provides a unique opportunity for orthopedic shoulder specialists and other healthcare professionals to interact with a world-class faculty of shoulder specialists in a beautiful and unique environment.

This course is designed to provide the orthopaedic surgeon with an update on treatments for various shoulder disorders including conservative care, arthroplasty, arthroscopy, and fracture management. The course format is a combination of lectures and engaging panel discussions. A group of distinguished faculty will present their experience, techniques, and discuss individual cases in an intimate environment. Ample time for question and answer sessions will be provided for participants to interact with faculty.
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
Orthopedic shoulder specialists and other healthcare professionals whose scope of practice includes shoulder surgery.
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Ada Canyon Medical Education Consortium and Idaho Shoulder Education & Research Foundation. The Ada Canyon Medical Education Consortium is accredited by the Idaho Medical Association and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
